Leadership is like being responsible and to do things right to also give good examples and express your thought and feelings. Some really good examples of good leadership are expressing your feelings things that you think that should be said. Coming out of your comfort zone and actually doing things that you really don’t like to do like speaking in front of a class. Standing up for someone and not afraid what they well say. Trying to make this place better little by little. Things that I have learned in this class are that skin color does not matter there is no reason to treat others different and that there is nothing wrong with it because we are all human. That there was slavery and they treated them awful and know there is no slavery but there are rude comments and bad things they still do to the people of color. Also when we did the MLK speech I came in front of the class and presented it that made me come of my comfort zone and I felt good as well because I got to express in how I felt and i’m very proud of that. And I also noticed that this class is a class that won’t judge and well not say rude comments but well say comments that will and can make you better. This class has been a class that has made me more of a better person.

My Family are Illegal Immigrant and I am too and my parents have had tolled it to my sister and my little baby sister. The story has not been changed at all but they have retold that story when we are  having a small family gathering and there tone of there voice  does get a little bit shaky and they get sad because they just can not believe that they crossed the border and they couldn’t stop to take a break for 2 hole days. They tell the story complete and how things happened and why they happened. The story that my parents have told are told because thats just really a day were they couldn’t believe that they were actually able to cross to the U.S and know they are happy being here but do miss there family. The story of my family has never been written down because there hole story it’s like if it’s recorded into there minds because every time they talk about it it’s the same version every time.

The things that I didn’t about know about the movie is that people were actually seperated from there family and people had to pay a sirten amount of money to buy a specific slave. The movie impact me in a type of sad way and also as emotional way because everything they did to the slaves and it’s was also  something really strong to see. There’s some things that actually impact me in the movie  and they are when the white people took platt making him think that they wanted him for how he played and then he sees himself waking up something looking like a cage and they treat him terrible and he gets separated from his family. Also when they started to sell ot the slaves and when they took the mom from the kids and how they were just begging to not get seperated and they didn’t care and how the mom wouldn’t stop crying for here kids. And the other is that they would  torture them so bad and the way they hit them all and the word that they wouldn’t stop using was the N word. It’s really important to watch this movie because it just gives a lot of explanation of what terrible things they did to them and it can be a hard movie to watch but that’s how they treated them that’s how there was a difference on how the white people  lived and how the black people were treated and how they did separation from there  family, the movie just shows a lot of what really went on and I just recommend to watch it. This movie relates to what’s happening in society today because black people are getting shot by cops without even having a weapon without even having a reason to shoot and there are some pretty mean people in this world there is some racist things that had happened to this society now day’s is not the best at all.

Black lives matter movement started when Trey von marten was shot and killed at the age of 17 when coming back from the store and he got shot by the guy george  zimmerman  the worst part was when the guy was bailed free from the murder and then after that had happend he sailed the gun he shot Trey von with. The video of Eric gardner the one who did not do anything that was only  trying to stop a fight and then the two guys tuckled him and the police saw and they chocked him when he was being detiend and then actually dying when he kept saying I can’t breath that just makes me really uspset and one of the reasons is because he kept telling the cops I can’t breathe and the cops didn’t do anything about it. The video that we just saw that a white guy actually had a gun the cops asked him more then one time to put the gun down and they didn’t even shoot and when they asked the black guy to put the gun down even tho he didn’t have one they shot him immidietly. It’s just unbeliveble that someone that’s white can actually get the chances to put the gun down litterly the police won’t even shoot…but how is it that black people that are not even armed can get shot without them having a weapon or when they do they get shot quick without the police having to ask them to put the gun down several times just like they do with the white people. Ferguson Missouri there was a protest of Michael Brown and the cops showed up armed and starting throwing tear gas to where the protest’s were and inside store/restaurant and the cops all started shooting  and they also had the right to be protesting. After all that and the protest and Michael Brown not being armed the they still didn’t listen and the officer was pronounced none guilty once again is just really unfare. It’s amazing that Labron James and other famouse  stars use there fame to show the world and demostrating that black lives do matter and when I heard that the president of the united states said to “shut up and just Drible” is one really dumb thing to say because there just trying to represent that the black lives do matter. Fredy Grey was shot unarmed from running away and  getting shot by a cop from his back there was a protest in baltimore and reporters from Fox news were compering the black lives matter to kkk. I just think the media company was trying to show that the black lives matter that it was a hate group just because they wanted to stop all the protesting and so they could just let people think that they are actually bad people. Lot’s of people that do think of equal right’s do fight for what is right. All these people including the president Barack Obama was also fighting for right’s everybody was starting to do the # – Hashtag because they know what’s right. And what I think of this is that it’s great that people do know what’s right and that we should be fighting for equal right’s .

Things i have learned the first week of class are how some or everybody just start judging that person without u knowing them.Just because of how they look or how there rich or not. Ive learned lots about that in class and i wasn’t really sure about all that until know and that made me realize to not judge a book by its cover.

Things you should know about me are that I am 16 teen years old and they brought me to the U.S when I was 1 year old I’ve only speak spanish in my house and it was hard for me to learn a new language when I started going to kindergarten. when I turned 7 I loved to dress my self and I would like my outfits to look perfect and to be dressed up great and my mom also always did my hairstyles which I did love a lot . Hard things have happened to me threw the past couple of years and fashion was the only way to actually just not think about those hard things that happened in my life but going out shopping and just walking around buying clothes that would look cute and mach would totally get my mind of things . Im trying to be a better me and show people what I like to really do.
